I made a shortened version of the yard sale wrap skirt from Heather Ross’s Weekend Sewing this weekend. I love it! This Nicey Jane print is one of my favorite fabrics ever, so adding it to a twirly skirt is a little magical. I can’t wait to bust it out in Disneyland! (I do need a better skirt sweater–we’re heading to the big mall in Denver tomorrow where I will work on the sweater situation!) I shortened the skirt by about 5 inches and with some careful cutting managed to make the pattern out of 3 yards instead of 4–woot woot!
And since Nic was taking action pictures of my skirt I had him take a couple of my central park skirt, too:
Susie - Oh Traci! These are both so adorable and YOU are adorable in them. Well done, lady!
Melissa - It looks really cute! So flippy and flirty and springy and fun. Good luck finding twirly-skirt sweaters! 🙂
Beth Moore - I hate you because of your cuteness. And I love you for it too. =)
Bekah - Too cute! I’ve been looking for a cute wrap skirt like this!
