When Heather and Erik were here Will slept in the futon in Ellie’s room (working out as we’d planned—huzzah!). He now LOVES ‘sleepovers’ and is having a sleepover with Ellie tonight. They are so hilarious. I am amazed at the games Will is constantly inventing that equally engage them both. They love to crawl around chasing each other and he loves to race ahead and ‘hide’ for her to find him. When she does she SQUEALS in delight. Tonight he used her birthday present from Chris and Manu to launch what could only be described as an assault against her. Ellie, sitting on the floor giggling and giggling while he threw stuffed blocks at her shouting “BOOM!” again and again. And each time one hit her she only laughed harder.
