Hayley and Devin have to be one of the most fun couples in the world.  They are so playful together, and as they go off on their next adventure I can’t imagine the fun they will have!  Their day of coordinator, the super adorable Elizabeth of Elizabeth Bradford Designs, kept everything running smoothly and beautifully!

I photographed their rehearsal dinner, which is always a wonderful opportunity to get to know the couple’s family before the wedding day.  They are so sweet and welcoming, and had arranged for the coolest catering I’d ever seen–a portable wood fired pizza oven (from Basic Kneads) with what had to have been the most delicious vegan pizza in the history of forever.  It was VERY cool!

Hudson Gardens is such a stunning spot for wedding portraits, and Monet’s Place is my favorite section of the gardens.

I was excited that their ceremony was at Monet’s Place.  It’s so lush and green!  Immediately after the ceremony they stole off for a couple of minutes together, and their walk away from the ceremony and moments alone couldn’t have been more pretty to shoot!

Instead of a cake, Hayley and Devin had beautiful (and delicious) wedding cookies.

Meg and Dave are the cutest and they don’t even know how cute they are!  They are so sweet together and we laughed a ton.  I can’t wait for their wedding–I can tell already that it will be full of fun and joy!

As we drove down to The Mining Exchange Wyndham hotel for Yvette and Jeff’s wedding we saw the thin plume of smoke that would become the massive Waldo Canyon Fire.  Over the next couple of hours we kept checking the news and our phones and adjusting plans accordingly.  We’d planned to have their first look at Garden of the Gods,  but it was closed about an hour before we’d planned to arrive there.  For a little while it looked like their planned ceremony in Manitou Springs would need to be moved to the hotel, as rumors of road closures and potential evacuations spread as quickly as the fire.  They got lucky, though, and were able to have the wedding ceremony as planned at 7 Minute Springs in Manitou before the town was evacuated late that night.  Yvette and Jeff have two of the cutest little girls in the world–it was so fun to spend the day with them!
