Lauren deserves a Best Bride Ever award.  I was so looking forward to Lauren and Matt’s wedding, especially because she loves romantic backlit lighting as much as I do!  And then we woke up to a persistent drizzle and fog that stuck around all day without a break.  But Lauren handled it all like a champ.  You couldn’t have asked for anyone to handle the weather disappointment and logistical changes with more grace or a brighter smile!   Lauren and Matt were so wonderful to work with, and I wish them a lifetime of sunny days to make up for the rain on their wedding day!

Ashlee and Josh came to us last minute after a date mix-up with their original photographer, and we felt so lucky to be able to work with them!  Ashlee was the most incredible bride–going out of her way to make US feel comfortable–even planning to pick us up from a safe parking spot when she realized that the road to her getting ready location was washed out!  She is a total blast and so much fun and it didn’t surprise us at all that their wedding had the most number of friends of the bride and groom in attendance that we’ve ever seen!  They had the most incredible weather (especially after all of the rain we’ve had!) and there were so many awesome details, like Ashlee’s to die for boots!  It was such a treat to photograph their wedding day and we’re so glad we had the opportunity to work with Ashlee and Josh!

The hardest part about blogging a session I really love is narrowing down which pictures to show.  It’s probably going to look like I didn’t restrain myself at all with these, but I swear–I did!  I’m just so excited about this fall camping theme!  I have lots of portrait sessions from the last month to share, but am jumping the queue with this one.  I’m a little partial to the subjects.  ;)  I went with a film look for the processing and think it fits the vintage theme just right!
