intro-post

Real Photography closed in December 2014 and is no longer accepting clients.

Thank you for your support over the years! Please follow me at my new personal blog: www.needlesandapen.com to keep up with my latest photography, craft, and nursing school adventures.

I’m going completely out of ordering sharing (and working on) our Delaware trip pictures before our Disney pictures, but I have some new actions that I wanted to play with that call for beach pictures, so pictures from our first day in Rehoboth it is!

A soft vintage look for these first two:

These next few are CLASSIC Will faces.  I love that I caught so many of his key expressions in one burst!

Last week Colorado Springs writer Jackie Johnson hired me to photograph her headshots for her upcoming book, When Love Ends.  She wanted to do her shoot outdoors, and Garden of the Gods obliged us with some great backlight for her portrait session!

I am so happy that things are starting to green up again!

Three posts in one day?! Crazy, I know! I would normally space these out more, but Mindy has been waiting for her blog post, so three in one day it is!

We started a new thing at her wedding that we’ll be trying to do at more weddings–having a slideshow of some of the images play at the reception. So everyone’s actually already seen all but two of these pictures!

Mindy and Brett held their beautiful wedding at the Tapestry House in northern Colorado.  Mindy was a stunning bride–a total real life Barbie doll!!

Mindy’s mom was so sweet–I hear she’s a regular reader of the blog!  :)

With the way the Tapestry House is set up, the bride gets to peek through the window as everyone else walks down the aisle…

Brett all ready to go!

My favorite part of every ceremony.  And Mindy didn’t let me down–look at that smile!!

The grounds of the Tapestry House were a beautiful place for portraits!

Mindy and Brett will have a memorable story for their honeymoon…their original plans included Mexico, so instead of dashing off for a healthy dose of the swine flu, they’re off to Jamaica instead.  :)

We ended up getting some gorgeous light right before the grand entrance!

Thanks so much Mindy and Brett for letting us photograph your beautiful wedding!  We hope you love the pictures and have a fabulous honeymoon!
