If there is an award for patience, I’m giving it to Kari! She waited an extra week for her pictures (which when you’re waiting for your wedding pics is like a year) and has been nothing but gracious as we have floundered around trying to get the computers up so we could get her pictures uploaded.
Kari and Michael were married at Ten Mile Station in Breckenridge last month. They planned the wedding for two years, and you could see it in the beautiful details! The button and flower centerpieces some of the most creative we’ve seen, and I absolutely love that they turned the whole weekend into festivities for their family and friends who all came from out of town. The brunch/BBQ the day after the wedding was an awesome idea, and I was so happy to photograph everyone over three days. By the final day everyone is completely relaxed around the camera!
Colorado weather is nothing if not unpredictable this time of year, and while the days before and after the wedding were gorgeous, the weather on the wedding day was bitterly cold and rainy, and so Kari got to be a first for us–our first outdoor ceremony in full on rain!
After the ceremony we caught a few shots in the drizzle before going inside. When the showers didn’t give up we called uncle and turned to the bar area for some beautiful nighttime portraits of Kari and Michael. They are so easy to photograph–they just do their thing with very little prompting!
Some of the uber creative centerpiece details:
Kari and her dad have such a sweet relationship!
PARTY TIME! :D
Thanks so much Kari and Michael for your hospitality and understanding about the extra wait for your pictures! We hope you love the photos!

A behind the scenes pic of my belly at 21 weeks–the baby is definitely getting to go to a lot of weddings in utero–we joke that she’s going to come out of the womb singing “all the single ladies, all the single ladies…”.
It’s funny to see this month old photo–I have definitely gotten a lot bigger this month!
