This pillow is almost done–just missing some elastic cording for the back buttons that I need to pick up today or tomorrow. This pillow has caused me more angst than is really possible for such a simple little patchwork pillow. I have been full of self doubt–piping or no piping, quilting or no quilting, but in the end I held tight to my original vision of a very sleek pillow–no quilting, no piping, just a sleek modern minimalist pillow that hopefully looks like it could have been purchased in a store. I did give in to a little self-doubt though and ripped it apart at the top to replace the second patchwork piece–it needed more a darker color in that section, but now that there’s some navy up there I’m feeling better. 🙂
I’m really excited about the details on the back and can’t wait to finish it off and share it!
